Spicy Andouille Pasta

Adventures of some radical ladies


1 link of Andouille sausage
8 oz of tomato sauce or El Pato Brand hot tomato sauce
8 oz of macaroni, spirals, penne, something with a fun shape but not long pasta break it into shorter pieces
1 TBS Italian or gumbo seasoning
2 TBS pesto sauce
1 TBS sugar
salt and crushed red pepper to taste
1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Bring 5 or 6 cups of water to boil with a TBS of salt. Add your pasta and cook a minute or 2 less than the directions. Cut up sausage into small half moons. Put in a smaller pan with the pesto and saute up a little bit. If you wanna do one pot just wait til you mostly cook that pasta and strain it and use that pot for the sausage. Then add the tomato sauce, sugar, seasonings and bring to a bubble. Now you can add that pasta back into the pot. Stir it up and take off the heat and let sit for a few mins then serve with lots of parmesan cheese on top.
